Our plans for The National Funeral Exhibition

2015 looks to be another fantastic year for The National Funeral Exhibition held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire on June 12th –June 14th 2015. The event is hailed to be the UK’s premier funeral exhibition. Taking on the theme of Medieval England, this year’s event is sure to be exciting and packed with a selection of wonderful noble men and women from the British Funeral Trade.

Once again Greenfield Coffins and Greenfield Prestige will be exhibiting the very latest in British manufactured, environmentally friendlier cardboard coffins. Find the Greenfield team on stand number 397 in hall number 2. Rest assured, this year’s visitor gift from Greenfield is simply to die for! Pay a visit to the stand to find out what all the fuss is about…

In addition to the unusual visitor gifts, bound to get the whole exhibition talking, Greenfield Prestige will also be launching their new Coffin Designer App – available for i-Phone and Android. The App has taken their existing on-line coffin designer facility a step further. The amazing on-line coffin designer option enables a cardboard coffin to be designed, totally bespoke to the deceased or loved ones wishes. With the option to use stock images or upload personal images, the end result will really be a celebration of someone’s life. With help on hand from the design team in the studio at Greenfield, perfecting the overall look is simple.

As well as personalising the coffin to the exact wishes of the deceased or loved ones, Greenfield Prestige coffins are also environmentally friendlier than alternatives. They are manufactured from at least 98% cardboard and paper of which 70% is made from post consumer waste (recycled paper). The final coffin is lighter than an average wooden coffin using 40% less material to manufacture.

Greenfield Prestige is a British manufactured coffin. The coffins are made in the East of England, where for the past 23 years Greenfield has been manufacturing cardboard coffins using materials sourced from British suppliers, helping to reduce their carbon footprint and also supporting the UK economy.

In addition to the environmental manufacturing benefits, cardboard coffins also have an increased cremation rate, further reducing cost and environmental resources.

With the demand for more personalised and non-religious funerals on the increase, Greenfield is working hard to accommodate those who would prefer a tasteful, yet fresh approach to their funeral arrangements for visual or environmental reasons.
